Shop the Look (STL) is an AI-powered recommendation feature that identifies garments worn by a model in a product image and recommends complementary items to complete the look. In Fredhopper, STL is configured through campaigns in the Merchandising Studio.
Learn more: Read more on the topic in Introducing Shop the Look.
Note: Shop the Look must be enabled on your environment by the AI team before the STL attributes are available in Fredhopper. If you cannot see them, contact your Customer Success Manager.
To configure a STL campaign in Fredhopper:
- In the Merchandising Studio, navigate to Campaigns.
- Click New to create a campaign.
Important: In Fredhopper, one campaign is required per recommended item type. To display three STL recommendations, you need to create three separate campaigns.
- Configure your campaign like you would do in any other scenario.
Learn more: For more information see Getting Started with Campaigns.
- Scroll to the Content section.
- Under Show, select Items.
- Set the number of items to 1. This number defines how many items of one item type will be displayed.
- Select Dynamic source as the source type. In the dynamic source drop-down, select the corresponding STL attribute, e.g.:
- Campaign 1: shop_the_look_0
- Campaign 2: shop_the_look_1
- Campaign 3: shop_the_look_2
- Click Save and close for each campaign. Once all three campaigns are saved, ensure they are published in Fredhopper so that they are active on your storefront
