FHR: How to customize the order of the attributes in the magnifying glass screen in VM

This document will explain the correct process to update the attributes shown on the Visual Merchandising screen when clicking on the magnifying glass.

Scenario

When creating a result modification in the Visual Merchandising screen, there is only a small subset of attributes that are displayed for each product. On how to customize this list, please see FHR: How to customize the attributes shown on the Visual Merchandising screen

When working on the VM screen, a larger list with attributes can be displayed for each product by hovering over a product and then clicking on the magnifying glass. The order of the attributes might not be very convenient and that is why there is a way to modify it.

Steps

1. Log in to the Fredhopper Merchandising Studio.
2. Navigate to the System tab. Open Display Fields.
3. Locate the column for the Detail page — this controls the attributes shown in the magnifying glass (item detail) screen in Visual Merchandising.
4. Click the Detail column to open the attribute list for that view.
5. Drag the attributes into the order you want them to appear in the magnifying glass screen, with the most important attributes at the top.
6. Save your changes and publish to apply the updated order.

Please note that this will also affect the order of the attributes displayed on the Fredhopper Preview Pages when you navigate or search.
