This document will explain the correct process to change or update the attributes shown on the Visual Merchandising screen when creating a Result Modification.
Scenario
When creating a result modification, in the Visual Merchandising screen, where the different products can be reordered, each product is shown with a limited number of attributes. Currently, only 4 attributes can be visualized. If these attributes are not very suitable for the merchandising team to decide on the proper order of the products, the list with the attributes can be changed.
The default attributes that are displayed are name,price,secondid,brand,currentprice.
Steps
To customize this list this requires a change in the system settings of the environment. This can be done by the Support team, so the right process would be to raise a ticket with us and request a customization of this list.
Please note that is not recommended to add more than 4-5 attributes, as only the first 4 will be displayed on the screen.
Once the change is implemented in the system settings, this will require a reindex for the change to take effect.
Another requirement is the new attributes to be enabled in the Display fields in the Merchandising Studio.
The "Navigation" and "Search" under the Lister field should be enabled.
