Upcoming Infrastructure Modernisation for the Fredhopper Cloud Environment

Our aim:

Throughout Q1 2022 we are continuing to modernise the Fredhopper infrastructure by enhancing the Load Balancing layers. This operation aims to:

• Improve performance and stability.
• Reduce error rates.
• Prevent disruptions in customer operations.

The changes will be rolled out gradually on all the cloud regions, throughout January to March.

No action is required on the part of our customers as the changes will not affect the integration with the Fredhopper Discovery platform.

Preparation and mitigation steps

We have taken the following measures to prevent any downtime:

• Additional automation to remove human error risks.
• Further automated tests where applicable.

Please be assured that we do not expect an interruption to your service due to this change.

In an unlikely scenario, you may observe an increased error rate in the Query API. Attraqt teams will be monitoring this during the change.

No further impact is expected, but please log a ticket with us if you notice any issues.
