This document will explain how to use Fredhopper location (fh_location) parameter in an internet browser for testing purpose with Fredhopper preview pages.
Scenario
You have been provided with a partial url for testing starting with "?fh_location" like the following one:
?fh_location=//catalog01/en_US/color=red/categories<
{products_women}/categories<{products_women_shirts}
Steps
Here are the steps that need to be followed in order to use correctly this url:
1. Access Fredhopper preview pages by copying one of the following addresses:
https://query.prepublished.live1.fas.eu1.fredhopperservices.com/preview/
- your cloud account is in the European Region
https://query.prepublished.live1.fas.us1.fredhopperservices.com/preview/
- your cloud account is in the US Region
https://query.prepublished.live1.fas.ap1.fredhopperservices.com/preview/
- your cloud account is in the APAC Region - AP1
https://query.prepublished.live1.fas.ap2.fredhopperservices.com/preview/
- your cloud account is in the APAC Region - AP2
2. Use your ldap credentials to log in. Usually the user corresponds to your cloud account.
3. Add the location part provided by Attraqt to the the preview pages URL:
https://query.prepublished.live1.fas.us1.fredhopperservices.com/preview/<Location>
4. Load the newly created URL in your browser. For example:
https://query.prepublished.live1.fas.us1.fredhopperservices.com/preview/?fh_location=//catalog01/en_US/color=red/categories<
{products_women}/categories<{products_women_shirts}
