FHR: How to trace events in Fredhopper Merchandising Studio

This article explains the options to trace events in Fredhopper Merchandising Studio.

 

Scenario:
There are cases where it is required to understand the origin of configuration changes on attribute level in Merchandising Studio, for example when exactly a change was made in the Navigation Index or the Display Fields, by which user account or another source, etc.

 

Answer:
Merchandising Studio does not have the functionality to provide details on attribute level changes for display fields publication. Also, there is no automation for selecting or deselecting a particular attribute and publish the change.

However, this has been raised as a feature request, and the new functionality is being considered for one of the future FAS releases.
