23.3.0 - Fredhopper Discovery Platform Release Notes

Introduction 

These release notes provide an overview of the resolved issues and improvements of the most recent release of the Fredhopper Discovery Platform 23.3 line.

Fredhopper Discovery Platform 23.3 is a major release. The Query and Data APIs in this version are backward compatible with all versions from Fredhopper Discovery Platform 7.5.x to 23.2.y. The Configuration API is backward compatible with all Fredhopper Discovery Platform versions until 23.2.y.

Fredhopper Discovery Platform 23.3 supports Oracle Java 8 VMs. For detailed setup instructions, please refer to Install Java instructions.

[Improved] The explanatory text displayed on the top of the Navigation page is now collapsed by default to improve screen visibility.

[Fixed] Alignment issues for screens with low resolutions (below 1280x1024) have been remedied.

[Fixed] After removing 'display fields' (when configuring a rule), it was not possible to delete a scope. The problem was fixed: the scope can now also be deleted.

[Fixed] Result modification groups with multiple categories applied as filters would not be applied. Instead, users would have to create multiple result modifications to work around this. The problem was fixed, and multiple-category filters can now be applied.
