Crownpeak worked on a fix covering the issues described in the following status page Fredhopper Data Dashboards Unavailable, and we are happy to announce that the correction is ready and we plan to deploy it at the end of August 2024.
What does the fix include
- The Data Dashboard will be accessible again via the legacy URLs:
- ( my.<region>.fredhopperservices.com/account/)
- Improved directory listing
- Generated logs and files will be in a readable format
- Users can switch from one account to another in one browser session by changing the account name. An authentication request will be required for each.
- Improved user interface of the dashboard with sorting functions. A guide will be published explaining the new features.
Roll out of the fix
- The roll-out of the fix will be done gradually starting with the APAC region (AP1 and AP2), followed by the European regions. The US region is still using the legacy URL and won't be updated at this point.
- The first rollout for the APAC region will be executed during the maintenance window on 26th August.
- The deployment to the EU region will be in the next maintenance window.
- A possible rollout to the US region will be considered for one of the next maintenance windows.
- Please follow the Crownpeak Fredhopper Status page for more updates.
Customer impact and what to expect
- The Data Dashboard URL won't be accessible during the Maintenance, while the fix deployment is executed.
- Upload of data will be allowed.
- Data processing might be paused as it is during a regular Maintenance Window.
- After the maintenance is complete, the legacy URL should be used to access the Data Dashboard.
- Links to the latest data in the dashboard will be generated approximately an hour time after the dashboard is operational.
- Old data will remain in the previous format
- There will be NO changes to the way the REST API, FTP or WebDAV are used to interact with the data
- If you encounter any issues or you have questions after the fix rollout please log a ticket with us via the Support Center.
Contingency plan
- Crownpeak has worked on a contingency plan in case the rollout of the fix does not work as expected. We will roll back any changes to the previous, i.e. temporary state.
