FHR: How to change the display formatting for float type attributes

This document will explain how to change the formatting of float type attributes.

Scenario

Some attributes in the Fredhopper Preview pages are displayed with a 1.0E-5 value. 

Can the format of the displayed value be changed so it shows an actual float number?

Steps

1. Log in to the Fredhopper Merchandising Studio.
2. Navigate to the System tab.
3. Select Localisation from the menu.
   
4. Locate the float type attribute whose display format you want to change — for example, an attribute currently showing values in scientific notation such as 1.0E-5.
5. Update the display format setting for that attribute. The default format is ###.###. Change it to the format that matches the value range you need to display.
6. Save your changes and publish to apply the updated formatting to your Preview pages.
