FHR: How to change the display formatting for float type attributes

This document will explain how to change the formatting of float type attributes.

 

Scenario

Some attributes in the Fredhopper Preview pages are displayed with a 1.0E-5 value. 

Can the format of the displayed value be changed so it shows an actual float number?

Steps

The display format for a float type attribute can be adjusted in the Merchandising Studio, in the System tab, under Localisation:

Preview pages come with the default setting to display ###.###.
If the supplied value falls outside this format, it will be visualized as 1.0E-5.
As mentioned above, you can overwrite the display settings under Localisation and change the settings per attribute.
