FHR: How to change facet order in the Merchandising Studio

This document will explain how to change the facet order in Fredhopper.

 

Scenario

The order of some facets in the Merchandising Studio needs to be changed, like for example, the "Price" facet needs to move from 12th to 2nd position, right below the "Category" facet.

 

Steps

Here are the steps that need to be followed for the orders of the set facets to be changed:

1. Login to the Merchandising Studio and select the "Facets" menu, where all of the facets will be listed.

2. Find the facet that you wish to change the order for, in this case, that would be the "Price" facet, and check the particular scope that facet is created in, where in this example it would be "Global Categories".

3. After checking the proper Scope the facet is in, navigate to the "All my Scopes" drop-down menu and select the particular scope in question. After that proceed with the "Select" button.

4. All facets configured for the "Global Categories" scope, will be listed and a Priority box will appear. Then the priority can be modified as desired.
