Usage of Schema.setLayout(String)

Hi,

I wanted to write a small script, which would allow me to arrange the layout of the schema templates to my needs. I did try to use the method setLayout but the layout of my schema still didn't change visually in the sitearchitect. Even if I did provide the method with total nonsense instead of xml, I still would receive and an exception, which is what I were expecting. 

So, can anyone tell me how to use the setLayout method to change the layout in the sitearchitect?
