Restrict table format templates in CMS_INPUT_DOM

Hello Community!

I would like to restrict the available table format templates in an CMS_INPUT_DOM.

As far as I can see, I can only activate or deactivate tables in generall on the CMS_INPUT_DOM, but not specify which of my table format templates I want to allow at this point.

I tried adding my desired table format templates to the FORMAT TEMPLATE list, but it is not recognised there.

Did I miss something or do I need to create a feature request for this?

  And another related question:

  How does the DOMTABLE select which table format template to use?

  Because in the DOMTABLE the editor can not choose a table to add - so can I set that somewhere?
