WebClient5 auf'm IE 11

hallo community,

ganz banale frage: hat schon jemand den webclient 5 auf'm internet explorer 11 getestet?

funktioniert z. b. drag'n drop wie auch schon auf'm 10er ie? gibt es irgendetwas anderes, was nicht funktioniert?

    Hallo Daniel,

    laut den ReleaseNotes für FirstSpirit 5 wurde die Verwendung des WebClients im Internet Explorer bis einschließlich Version 9 getestet. Für höhere Versionen existieren von e-Spirit-Seite somit keine Testergebnisse.

    Dear Michaela,

    does that mean, that:

    - FirstSpirit 5.0 ContentCreator is not officially supported when using IE >9?

    This information we can approve when taking a look in the "Technical Datasheet" documentation in chapter 3.2.1. There, the supported reference browsers are limited to:

    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 9
    • Mozilla Firefox 10 ESR (Extended Support Release)

    Additionally, it is mentioned to support IE 10 starting with FirstSpirit 5.x. Whatever the x stands for. When interpreting the document in the right way, x means everything >0 :smileywink:

    Besides, are there:

    - known problems that do occur when using IE >10/11?

    - plans defined when IE versions 10/11 will be supported? As FirstSpirit 5.1 has been released by the end of March 2014 does the technical datasheet now allow the usage of IE 10/11?

    Nevertheless, we couldn't find an updated datasheet document for FirstSpirit 5.1. Do you have one?

    Ein Termin für die offizielle Unterstützung von IE 11 würde uns auch interessieren...

    Die offizielle IE 10/11 Unterstützung ist für FirstSpirit 5.2 geplant.

    Vermutlicher Release-Zeitpunkt: Mitte 2015.

    Aktuell sind keine Inkompatibilitäten zwischen FirstSpirit 5.1 und IE 10 bekannt, auch wenn der Browser nicht offiziell unterstützt wird.

    Hallo Herr King,

    mit dem IE 11 liegen noch keine Erfahrungen vor.

    Bis heute sind mit dem IE 10 keine Probleme aufgetraucht - so der Zwischenstand.

    vielen Dank für Ihre klare Ankündigung einer offiziellen IE-Browser-Unterstützung ab FirstSpirit 5.2

    Darüber hinaus würde uns interessieren, ob auch keine Inkompatibilitäten zwischen:

    - FirstSpirit 5.1 und IE11

    bekannt sind bzw. ob in der Zwischenzeit doch Probleme bei:

    - FirstSpirit 5.1 und IE10

    auftraten.
