"Accept template changes" functionality extensability

Hi,

There is a Context menu "Accept template changes" in Extras on the page templates in the Template Store. Currently, this functionality updates all the Pages in the Page Store that uses the current Page Template. But I would like to extend this functionality in a way, that, with the help of a script, considering all the page templates in the Template Store, all the associated Pages in the Page Store should be updated.

That means, For an example, If I have Page Templates pageTemplate1, pageTemplate2, pageTemplate3 in Template Store. In association with these Page Templates if there are Pages Page1'(which uses pageTemplate1), Page2'(which uses pageTemplate2), Page3(which uses pageTemplate3), in the Page Store.

So, By running a script, all the pages Page1, Page2 and Page3 in the Page Store should be changed by accepting the changes of pageTemplate1, pageTemplate2 pageTemplate3 in the Template Store.

So, I would like to ask you, If there is an Interface or Method or Class or the Way to extend this functionality "Accept template changes".

I would appreciate a piece of Information or a pointer to achieve it.

  Hello Ronny,

  sadly there is no way to use this functionality in an automatic context like a script at the moment. It is just possible to use it manual.

  But there is a already a Feature Request for this question: https://community.e-spirit.com/ideas/1359
