To create a rule that runs when a shopper visits a specific page or completes a specific navigation path, you need to navigate to the desired location and click Create new. Based on your selection, FHR creates a new rule in the Merchandising Studio and adds a User location trigger to it.
Prerequisites
- Verify that you have access to the Preview Pages.
- Verify that you can create and manage rules in the Merchandising Studio.
Your user role determines your level of access to the Merchandising Studio. To change your role and level of access, contact a Merchandising Studio administrator from your team.
Procedure
Step 1
Log in to the Preview Pages.
You can access the Preview Pages from your Fredhopper URL containing /preview/.
Step 2
Navigate to the category page that you want to use and click Create New.
Step 3
From the drop-down menu, select the type of rule that you want to create.
Step 4
Select the location setting that you want to use and click Create.

Step 5
In the newly opened browser window, configure any remaining rule settings, including additional triggers, and click Save.

Note The configuration interface does not show the configured location trigger until you set name and scope for the rule. |

- Verify that the rule behaves as expected in the Preview Pages.
