Introduction
These release notes provide an overview of the resolved issues and improvements of the most recent release of the FAS 19.1 line, followed by the release notes of previous FAS 19.1 releases.
FAS 19.1 supports Oracle Java 8 VMs. For detailed setup instructions please refer to the Fredhopper Learning Center.

Release Date: February 13, 2019
FAS 19.1 is a major release. The Query and Data APIs in this version are backwards compatible with versions FAS 7.5.x and 8.x.y. The Configuration API is backwards compatible with FAS 8.x.y.
This release introduces the following notable changes:
- Significant improvements in publishing times. Configuration and rules are now synchronized to live servers within a few seconds.
- Improved rule management for multi-market setups.
- New color palette to reflect the latest Attraqt branding.

Merchandising Studio & Preview Pages
[New] Business Manager is now known as the Merchandising Studio.
[Improved] The color palette of the Preview Pages and the Merchandising Studio now closely reflects Attraqt's new brand identity.
[Improved] Changes published to live now become available on your site in a few seconds.
[Improved] You can now configure image campaigns with multiple links without scrolling.
[Fixed] When you set a link with the https protocol as a front-end panel button URL in the system settings, the Merchandising Studio prepends it with an unnecessary slash.
[Fixed] If you don't select a value for the custom field when you configure a campaign or facet, an erroneous text might be displayed.
[Fixed] Sometimes, when a user opens their e-mail verification link, the verification is not display properly and the layout is misaligned.
Merchandising
[New] You can now create facets that contain LIST and SET multi-market
attributes.
[New] You can use custom triggers to run more precise and fine-tuned multi-market merchandising strategies.
[Fixed] Sometimes, a ranking cocktail containing conflated multi-market attributes might not be applied
[Fixed] Sometimes, the system can erroneously perceive a ranking cocktail as invalid and not apply it.
[Fixed] If a rule has a draft version, the system can accidentally clean up its last published version, which might cause this rule to not be applied on the live servers.
Search and Navigation
[Fixed] Sometimes, the next to last range in a numeric facet shows "... or more" instead of the highest value.
Upgrading & Migration
- FAS 19.1 requires Deployment Agent 2.2.0 or later.
- The instant publication feature is available only for systems with the Configuration and Rules service (CRU).
