Since the introduction of Java Server Pages or Jakarta Server Pages at the end of the 1990s, this technology has not changed much.
In the context of search results pages, the use of JSP tags is no longer up-to-date. Users nowadays expect, for example, a direct action in the result list when clicking on a filter, without reloading the page.
