FirstSpirit 5.1.410 is the third maintenance release in our 5.1 branch and contains bugfixes and a couple of new functions.
The release notes are attached to this post.
Important note:
- This is the first FirstSpirit release with official Java 8 support (see details in the release notes)
- It may be necessary to rebuild your search index after an update to this release (see details in the release notes)
The new FirstSpirit version is available for download here: http://www.e-spirit.de/download/updateFS51.

Moin, moin Hr. Knorr, vielen Dank für die Info. Für die Planung unseres Migrationsprojektes auf FirstSpirit 5.1/5.2 ist die Information wichtig, wie die weitere Release-Planung für FirstSpirit 5.1 aussieht. Können Sie den aktuellen Stand der diesbezüglichen Planungen von e-Spirit zur Verfügung stellen? Vielen Dank im Voraus! Mit freundlichen Grüßen Rainer Baumann
Die allgemeine FirstSpirit Release-Planung ist im Roadmap-Dokument beschrieben: New FirstSpirit roadmap document (5.1 and 5.2) (Kapitel 2)
Konkret auf Version 5.1 bezogen bedeutet dies, dass die "Medium Term Support"-Version (MTS) Ende August 2015 zur Verfügung stehen wird. Dies ist dann die letzte 5.1er Version. Anschließend werden nur nur 5.2er Versionen freigegeben.
