Business Manager
Overall Style
The Preview Pages and Business Manager have been restyled to match SDL's new uniform UI colour scheme and now support integration into other SDL products. Various other minor stylistic improvements were applied as well.
Result Modifications
The ability to modify query results was expanded and generalised. One generalisation is that now the items to be moved/blocked can now be described using one or more primary and secondary ranges and secondid filters, the negation of one or more primary ranges and secondid filters, or the negation of a single secondary range.
As a result, any existing query result modification rule on a range over a primary attribute can no longer be modified other than deleted if no matching facet on that attribute is defined at the home location. To modify such a rule, a matching facet on that attribute must be defined at the home location.
Additionally, one may restrict the number of items thus moved. The affected items can also be sorted independently, either by one or more primary attributes (with or without match rate) or a single secondary attribute.
Search result modifications can now be applied to results that are sorted by any property (previously, match rate had to be the first sort property).
Search
Relational search configurations no longer require one to define primary attribute types that aggregate all variant-level values of live list or set attribute types; FAS now does this transparently.
Changes to the query response
The XML <page> response to queries is mostly unchanged. Some notable changes include the following:
- The link element named Lister of the detail item from a navigation query now has the type index instead of search.
- The link element named Lister of the detail item from a search query now has the type search instead of index.
- The link element named Lister of the detail item is rendered if and only if fh_secondid is specified. Previously, this link element is not rendered if fh_reffacet is specified.
- The url-params element's text content of the link element named Lister of the detail item no longer contains the fh_modification parameter.
- The url-params element's text content of the link element named Detail of the compare item no longer contains a redundant ampersand.
- The fh_view parameter is retained by the url-params element's text content of link elements with types first, previous and next at detail view.
Deprecations
As of this release, the 'keeplist' and 'order' views are officially deprecated. They will be removed in the next major release.
