Dynect, Attraqt's current DNS provider for our FHR customers, has announced the discontinuation of their service, and we are therefore migrating to Amazon Web Services's Route 53 service for DNS hosting.
When will this occur?
The migration will occur on April 11th - April 21st. During this period we will incrementally route traffic from the current Dynect DNS to Route 53 in 20% increments.
Are there any risks?
We have been working towards a seamless migration and as such we do not anticipate any downtime for our customers. In the highly unlikely event of the migration not being entirely seamless, procedures been put in place to limit any downtime to 1 minute or less and only for 20% of all traffic.
What do I need to do?
No action is required from our customers unless your organisation has hardcoded NS records. If you have hardcoded NS records, please log a ticket with us to adjust your integration by Thursday April 6th.
Failure to update hardcoded DNS records WILL result in disruption when the records are migrated.
If you have any questions or queries, please log a ticket with us.
