Introduction 

These release notes provide an overview of the resolved issues and improvements of the most recent release of the FAS 22.1.1 line.

FAS 22.1.1 supports Oracle Java 8 VMs. For detailed setup instructions, please refer to Install Java instructions.

Improvements & Resolved Issues

Merchandising Studio & Preview Pages

[Improved] UX Improvement: When an entity is in the "Waiting for publication" state, Merchandisers cannot save further changes until the entity is removed from the publication queue. This improvement disables the edit screen, avoiding Merchandisers making changes they cannot save.

[Improved] Updated the internal locking mechanism to reduce UI thread wait times during the incremental update processing.

[New] Added the possibility to do "select all" from the overview page for all trigger-based entities, enabling bulk actions like publishing, archiving, deleting, etc.

[Fixed] UI bug when the Merchandising studio is accessed via the controller. The issue with the encryption of Merchandising Studio's resources when additional encoding is applied.

Visual Merchandising Interface

[Fixed] Fixed an issue with drag and drop in VM where the items were not moved to the selected position.

[Fixed] Fixed bug where items in VM on the last row were not able to be drag and dropped.

Known Issues and Limitations

[Known Issue] A small UI issue has been identified when using Result Modifications to drag and drop (d&d) individual products into a given position. If a d&d modification exists on a previous page within the VM screen, and another product is dragged to the first position on a subsequent page, this new d&d product will move to the previous modification on the previous page when the modification is applied, rather than position 1 on the current page.

There is a simple workaround for this that users typically use as standard. As this only affects the first item on a new VM page, Merchandisers can adjust the number of products shown on one VM screen so the position in question is not in the first slot.
