Introduction to adding sales stickers
This guide will provide you with a simple step-by-step guide to add sales stickers for EB products on your widgets.
Prerequisites
In order to follow these steps, you will need to have access to the EB control panel. If you do not have access you can request access by clicking here or choosing “I/my colleague require access to an Attraqt service” from the use case drop down on the “Submit a request” page in the Support Centre.
For security reasons we require access for 3rd parties to be requested by a member of the organisation to whom control panel access is being requested for. This is to ensure the individual has the organisations permission to access the control panel.
Scenario
My website is running a Black Friday campaign and we need to make sure that the price sticker is displayed within Early Birds recommendations.
For the purposes of this guide we will use an EB demo account.
Steps
Step 1
Log into the EB console panel and click on the mass tag assignments section to create our Black Friday tag.
Step 2
Click on Add mass tag assignment button to get started with the Black Friday tag setup. You can create a tag using a product attribute but, as you know, it’s not always easy to change your product feed. On the following steps, we are going to explain how to create a tag manually for a specific peak season, such as Black Friday.
Step 3
Next we need to define the title of our mass tag assignment and tag name. Bear in mind that we can’t have a space on the tag's name, you can use an underscore instead.
Step 4
Now let’s add the product IDs that you want to include on this new tag. You can copy the product IDs from a csv file and past them on this section.
Once you have saved this tag, the pasted IDs will be organised in the following way:
125, 127, 129, 131, 133, 135, 137, 139, 152, 154, 156, 158, 161, 163, 199, 201, 203, 205, 207, 210, 212, 214, 216, 218, 220, 222, 224, 227, 229, 231, 233, 238, 240, 242, 244, 246, 248, 250, 252, 254, 256, 260, 263, 265, 267
Step 5
The last step to complete our Black Friday tag is to define start and end dates. On this example, I’m going to set the dates according to the duration of my Black Friday promotion.
If the tag was saved now it would be available on November 29th until the 4th of December. If you want to the tag be valid for a longer period, you just need to save it without any “End Date”.
Step 6
To complete the configuration of this Black Friday tag, you just need to save it as the below.
Step 7
Once you have created your tag you should submit a ticket following the below format:
- Site: www.example.com - please provide your website name
- Tag: Black_Friday19 - please provide the name of the tag created before
- Sticker: www.example.balckfriday19.com - please provide the sticker image URL
- Location: top-left corner - please precise the location where the sticker should be displayed on the product thumbnail
