Introduction
These release notes provide an overview of the resolved issues and improvements
of the most recent release of the FAS 20.2 line.
FAS 20.2 supports Oracle Java 8 VMs. For detailed setup instructions please
refer to the Fredhopper Learning Center.

Merchandising Studio & Preview Pages
[Improved] New list selector control for the enumeration trigger.
[Fixed] Facet publication causing an error when translations for its locale
are missing.
[Fixed] Issue when saving changes in Merchandising Studio defaults.
Visual Merchandising Interface
[Fixed] Groups with multi-conflated attribute filters do not conflate to the
correct location under in specific cases.
[Fixed] "Show more" button incorrect behaviour for certain Result Modifications.

FAS 20.2.1 is a maintenance release that provides a improves response of conflated
attributes for asset base type.
Improvements & Resolved Issues
[Fixed] Incorrect conflation of attributes of type asset, float and relational
attributes resolves to default value for display fields.
Version 20.2.0
Release Date: April 22, 2020
FAS 20.2 is a major release. The Query and Data APIs in this version are
backwards compatible with versions FAS 7.5.x, 8.x.y., 19.x.y and 20.x.y. The
Configuration API is backwards compatible with FAS 8.x.y, 19.x.y. and 20.x.y
Highlights of the release are the ability to differentiate between Merchandising
Studios, custom triggers in Visual Merchandising and UI improvements.

Merchandising Studio & Preview Pages
[New] Ability to visually differentiate between the client's Merchandising
Studios.
- Clear labelling of whether you are logged onto the live or test
environments, so merchandisers will have better awareness of which one they
are modifying.
- You can now configure an icon for each instance's Merchandising Studio.
A set of commonly used country flags is provided, as this feature is
expected to be most useful for multi-country setups.
[Improved] Ranking rules re-ordering is now made easier. In all places in the
Merchandising Studio, where multiple rankings are allowed, "up" and "down"
buttons are available to help reordering them.
[Improved] Ranking cocktail balance calculations are made easier to comprehend.
Instead of percentage we now show relative weights to other attributes. The tooltip
has been clarified.
[Fixed] LDAP usernames are now correctly case-validated and are case insensitive.
Visual Merchandising Interface
[New] Custom triggers are now supported in Visual Merchandising. This allows the
users to have better control on the final results display, with a full spectrum of
custom triggers.
